Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

When you upload a resume, we extract structured profile information (name, contact details, work experience, skills, education). The original PDF is processed to create this profile and is not permanently stored on our servers.

We store your job search results and settings so you can access them across sessions.

What we don't collect

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Third-party services

Anthropic Claude — Job descriptions and your profile are sent to Anthropic's API to generate fit scores, summaries, and cover letters. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train models.

Stripe — Payment processing. We do not store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings in the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Self-hosted users

If you run the open-source backend yourself, your data never leaves your own infrastructure. We have no access to it.
